Hi my name is Kali, I am married and work full time at a community college in Human Resouces. I am an older parent and have a almost 2.5 year old son. I have been dabbling in Hand-in-Hand for a year or so but am trying to learn more. I have been doing the staylistening the longest, and now have been doing special time on a more regular basis. I am working on learning how to do the setting limits.
I am married and have 3 children. Two boys who are 4 and 3 years old and a 15 months old girl. I am trying to improve my parenting skills and I´ve been learning a lot from Hand in Hand resources. I am struggling with my little one hitting at the moment.
My name is Chelsey, I am fairly new to HIH and thrilled to be here. I am married and a mom to 3 young boys (2,4,6yrs)
My difficulties and challenges with my oldest child pushed me to seek out support and resources beyond what I could find here in my home town. Since starting with HIH this year I have learned so much and my relationship with my boys has already improved so much. We are a much happier family, it’s like a bit more sweetness has returned that’s been missing for far to long. I’m eager to keep learning
Hi I’m Jodie. I’m married and have four children – 17 and 14 yo step kids and 2 and 5 month old daughters. I first started HiH for sleep issues with the younger two, but finding that using all 5 tools is addressing just about every issue we have in our family. My current focus is on being playful throughout the day and building our family connection plan.
I’m AnneMarie and I am in Ireland. I’ve one wee girl who is 3 almost 4.
We have a listening group in our town and so I’m lucky to have listening partnerships. These have recently strengthened due to a hand in hand course we took together, two trainers visited us for the weekend. That was a blessing and insightful deep work.
I am commited to parenting and dealing with my emotional issues as much as my daughters.
Thankfully she has a commited dad too who wants to support her emotions and she stays with him two nights a week.
Hello everyone, I’m Laura and joined a couple weeks ago after some desperation with my oldest child’s aggressive behavior. I finished the aggression course and got so much out of it- I also go many of the other courses and podcasts too. So now I’m broke- but really happy to find these resources!
It’s the help and support I’ve been missing as well as the explanation of behaviors that feel o right to me. I’ve been struggling for so long it’s like a dream come true to know what I’m supposed to be doing and how not to screw up my kids.
I have three kids- 5, 3.5, 2. Also I’ve posted here and other places that I’d like to find another listening partner who is available at 8/830 pst any evening. I’d like to have more than one and am very committed to this work so I won’t be a flake. Thanks,
Hi! My name is Sarah. I am a stay at home mom to three kids ages 10, 8, and 6. I discovered HIH a year a half ago. We had just moved to a new state and tensions were very high in my family. This approach has significantly changed my parenting. I took the parenting intensive a year ago and appreciated digging a little deeper with all the tools. We still have many dynamics that we are working on and I was feeling ready to dig deep again as well as finding some additional support for myself. I’m glad to be here.
I am karen. I have 3 children, a 7 yr old girl, 5 year old boy and a one year old baby girl. I found hih 3 yes ago when my relationship with my eldest started to implode. I was pretty shocked that things got bad quickly. Hihe x hanged that so much . I joined the parentime club to strengthen the theory I now have and the missing link for me now is listening partnerships. I am in Ireland and open to trying out different times. I would love an sos option for when I am triggered if anyone would like to try that..time zones permitting. I am sahm for the moment. X thx karen
